Having grown up in an engineering and hands on family and my interests in modifying and creating things from raw materials, my future path seemed destined from an early age.
I obtained an apprenticeship and attended college achieving my city and guilds qualifications. At the age of twenty three I had my own business and gained an early knowledge and experience of dealing with other companies and private clients which I have found very useful in business today.
We carried out extensions and modernisation projects along with a property maintenance contract with some local estate agencies. We also had the privilege of working in Chester on listed buildings giving them a modern internal look whilst keeping the historic architectural heritage intact and, being a member of the federation of master craftsmen, I found this experience very rewarding.
Having moved here to Spain after visiting the Costa Blanca area since the year 2000, I noticed how buoyant the building sector was. On our move here and establishing SES in 2005, things soon changed as a consequence of the downturn in the economic climate, that said we have been very successful.
My business has expanded due to the the poor results of cheap and inexperienced labour during the housing boom here in Spain by carrying out remedial and corrective works repairing clients properties.
I have a core client base which we add to through recommendations in and around our local area. I am very proud of my team and only use sub contractors of the highest standards both in quality of work and courtesy.
